| Kathy began her research career as a Clinical Research Associate at ClinTrials Research, Inc. in 1996. She then joined IBAH, Inc., now Omnicare Clinical Research, Inc., in 1998. She monitored clinical trials in the United States for seven years and earned certification as a Clinical Research Associate. Kathy founded Alpha Clinical Research, LLC in July 1999 and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer with managing partner Amber Heggie. She is certified in Good Clinical Practice and is working towards a certification in clinical research coordinating through the ACRP as well. She has a vast amount of experience with trials in many specialties including cardiology, dermatology, diabetes, gastroenterology, infectious disease, nephrology, oncology, orthopedics, pain management, pediatrics, psychiatry, pulmonology, urology and women’s health. |
